The children at Chosen Children Village (CCV) are all well-disciplined even as they are considered “special children.” In most of the similar institutions that I have encountered the staff is not that organized in disciplining the child. However, in this institution all of the staff are very patient, focused and eager to teach the child. They consider the rights of the child in dealing with them. They give the best of care that they can extend among the children. Moreover, they act as almost the real parents of the children despite that the fact that they are only foster parents, so to speak. All the CCV staff were even nice to us as trainees. We were well-oriented and guided in every cottage where we were assigned.

I became so emotional when I first saw the CCV children but I know that they are happy staying at CCV having their “Mama’s and Papa’s” (as they call their caregivers) nurturing them.

I have learned from CCV how to discipline myself more especially waking up early in the morning. I know now better how to manage my time.

I thank God for having been here at CCV since I was able to experience handling special kids of different cases. I am praying that more sponsors would extend their help to continuously meet the children’s needs..
